RiX70 DC - HIGH FREQUENCY INTRAORAL X-RAY GENERATOR

RiX70 DC: modern design for practical operations.

  • null
    AUTOMATIC VOLTAGE TRANSFORMER
RiX70 DC appropriately operates in a range of 100 to 240 V. The electrical system automatically detects the power wattage, allowing a safe and proper functioning with any voltage.
  • null
    0.4 mm FOCAL SPOT
For sharper images with better defined edges.
This focal spot produces less divergence of the X-ray beam from focal spot to receptor which means less penumbra or edge unsharpness around the object.

  • null
    REDUCTION OF RADIATION DOSE
The high frequency generator allows radiation stability eliminating the soft radiation that does not produce images but can be harmful for the patient.

  • null
    TUBE VOLTAGE SELECTOR
RiX70 DC operates either 60, 65 or 70 kV allowing to reach excellent results to satisfy your needs: Voltage 60 kV for caries detection or periodontal applications; 70 kV for endodontic applications, including visualization of canals, detection of root fractures and diagnosis of periapical lesions due to pulpal inflammation.

  • null
    AUTOMATIC SETTING OF EXPOSURE TIME
From 0.01 to 2.0 seconds, depending on the patient and tooth characteristics.

What does DC stand for?

DC means amazing results with all the advantages of the latest electronic technology: rather than using alternating current, RiX70 DC applies a nearly constant potential to the tube.
This constant potential supplies the tube with DC current, resulting in a constant stream of consistent radiation that maintains the preset kV values even with mains fluctuations.

MODERN AND CLEAN DESIGN

RiX70 DC has a super-modern design featuring the flattened generator and transparent cone giving the overall unit the feeling of lightness and clarity.

• Steady and strong support arm.
• Length of the arm 40, 60, 80 and 100 cm.
• Compact and light tubehead.
• Hand switch with 3 mt coiled cord.
• Intuitive control panel with quickly identifiable icons.
• Easy and fast installation system.

MORE INFORMATION FOR BETTER RESULTS
The display on the timer shows the exposure parameters, errors and warning messages.
The user-friendly and intuitive design of the icons on the timer allows the user to:

  • Adjust exposure parameters according to the selected patient size, tooth type and image receptor.
  • Adapt the radiation dose to lower or higher values.
  • Modify the exposure time for digital receptor or film.
  • Select between 60, 65 or 70 kVp.

Available

in two models

RiX70 DC offers two models that easily integrate into the work environment:
a wall- mounted model with permanent installation and
a mobile stand model for operation in different rooms.

MOBILE

WALL MOUNTED

Optional

REMOTE TIMER (Only available for the wall mounted version)
Install the remote timer outside the X-ray room and set the exposure parameters, type of tooth, patient and image receptor to safely shoot the X-ray. With this option the timer board is blank and the X-ray hand switch with coiled cord is not included.

RECTANGULAR COLLIMATOR
Additional rectangular collimator of 43 mm x 35 mm. The use of a rectangular collimator not only reduces the skin entrance dose of the X-ray beam by as much as two-thirds, which is substantial, but the amount of X-ray scatter as well.

Compatible with any image

receptor available on the market

The RiX70 DC intraoral X-ray unit provides the best results
using Trident’s state-of-the-art digital image receptors,
either I-View Gold/I-View Silver intraoral sensors or PSP phosphor plates.
