DC means amazing results with all the advantages of the latest electronic technology: rather than using alternating current, RiX70 DC applies a nearly constant potential to the tube.
This constant potential supplies the tube with DC current, resulting in a constant stream of consistent radiation that maintains the preset kV values even with mains fluctuations.

RiX70 DC - HIGH FREQUENCY INTRAORAL X-RAY GENERATOR
RiX70 DC: modern design for practical operations.
What does DC stand for?
MODERN AND CLEAN DESIGN
The generator’s sleek design allows for optimal integration into the workspace. Its transparent cone enhances visibility and positioning accuracy, ensuring precise results.

High-stability and durable support arm, providing maximum safety in positioning..
Available arm lengths: 40 cm, 60 cm, 80 cm, and 100 cm, adapting to various configurations and clinical needs.
Compact and ultra-lightweight tube head, allowing for ergonomic handling and reducing user fatigue.
Manual switch with a 3-meter coiled cable, providing flexibility and convenience in equipment operation.
Intuitive digital control panel, featuring an optimized interface and quick-access buttons for efficient exposure parameter adjustment.
Simplified installation system, designed for quick and hassle-free mounting.
PRECISE CONTROL FOR OPTIMAL DIAGNOSIS
The timer screen provides a clear display of exposure parameters, along with alerts and warning messages for safe and efficient operation.
Thanks to its intuitive interface and easily recognizable icons, the user can:
- Adjust exposure parameters based on patient size, tooth type, and selected image receptor.
- Regulate the radiation dose, increasing or decreasing values according to procedural needs.
- Modify exposure time to accommodate digital receptors or radiographic film.
- Select between 60, 65, or 70 kVp, optimizing image quality according to diagnostic requirements.
Available
in two models
RiX70 DC offers two models that easily integrate into the work environment:
a wall- mounted model with permanent installation and
a mobile stand model for operation in different rooms.
Optional
REMOTE TIMER (Wall-Mounted Version Only)
Install the remote timer outside the X-ray room to safely set exposure parameters, select tooth type, patient, and image receptor before taking an X-ray. This option removes the timer board display and excludes the X-ray hand switch with coiled cord.

RECTANGULAR COLLIMATOR
Additional 43 mm x 35 mm rectangular collimator. This collimator significantly reduces the skin entrance dose by up to two-thirds while also minimizing X-ray scatter, enhancing both safety and image quality.

Compatible with any image
receptor available on the market
The RiX70 DC intraoral X-ray unit provides the best results
using Trident’s state-of-the-art digital image receptors,
either I-View Gold/I-View Silver intraoral sensors or PSP phosphor plates.
